There have several free cloud storage on the net available currently like:


         It is one of the most popular cloud services that lets you store, sync, and share files over the Internet
        With Dropbox you can have 2GB of free storage for your files and medias. You will have an additional 250MB on bonus space if you refer your friends to join and install Dropbox. You can have the storage up untill 8GB.
 
         It supports Windows, Mac and Linux computer operation systems, as well as iPhone, iPad, Android and BlackBerry.


 Box

      Box.net is known for its design and the social media tools it offers. It is compatible with the Microsoft images, files, mp3 files, Photoshop, flash video and many other applications.

     With free account you will have 5GB free storage space, 25MB limit file size, Simple sharing and collaboration, and Mobile app access(iPad, iPhone, Android, and through mobile browser).

 Windows Live SkyDrive

           SkyDrive is a Microsoft’s cloud storage offering. It offer 25GB of storage capacity. This is a great option if you have lots of small files to share. It limit of 50MB file size max.

There is no built in shell extension, but you can (on Windows, anyway) install SkyDrive Explorer to handle that. It works pretty well, and can apparently bypass the filesize limit with the pro version. 

You are given three folder options: Personal, Public and Private. You can decide as to which one you want depending upon your requirement. You can upload as well as share files with ease using Windows Live SkyDrive. You can keep your shared files as read-only or can give editing rights to the other users. Sky Drive is integrated with Hotmail and enables you to send up to two hundred images at a given point of time.



 Google docs

Google Docs allows you to upload and store files in the cloud. You can upload both files and folders, including an array of file types ranging from document types to image types to video formats. Here are some of the things you can do when you upload files or folders to Google Docs:

  • Access your files and folders from any computer, anywhere in the world by signing into Google Docs. The only requirement is that you have an Internet connection.
